For 20 years, players have been smashing Metin stones, waging guild wars, defeating bosses, and making friends. You have helped to forge the world of Metin2, and in honour of the 20th anniversary we’re calling upon you to grab your pencils, your needles, your cameras, and your ideas.
On 22nd September 2026 we’re launching four creative contests in parallel. Share your memories, create fan art, design a premium item, or show off your cosplay skills. The best entries will not only win some epic rewards, some of them will even find their way into the game.

Fan Art Contest
Pick up your pencil, tablet or brush, and show us your version of Metin2. Immortalise your character, a legendary guild battle, your favourite mount, or a special place from the world of Metin2. There are virtually no limits to your creativity.
We’ll first make up an internal shortlist of the top ten entries, before artists from Webzen and representatives from Gameforge determine the top 3.
The three winning entries will be added to the official game client as loading screens, and be visible to the entire community.

Premium Item Design Contest
In this contest you can design a new premium item for Metin2. If you submit a winning design, it will be implemented in the game.
Choose one of three categories: mount, pet or costume (inc. hairstyle). Together with Webzen, we will choose the top 3 in each category and present the winners during our anniversary stream. The best design in each category will then be implemented as a new premium item. As soon as the item becomes available, the top 3 in the category will receive the new item as a reward.
Your design can become a permanent part of Metin2.

Cosplay Contest
Bring the world of Metin2 to life! Pick a Warrior, Sura, Ninja, Shaman, Lycan, or another character from the game, and show us your cosplay skills! All that matters is your costume is clearly inspired by the world and style of Metin2.
We’ll first make up an internal shortlist of the top ten entries, before artists from Webzen and representatives from Gameforge determine the top 3. The winning cosplay will then serve as the template for a new NPC in the future.

- Participation is free and open to all players.
- Only original creations are permitted. AI-generated, traced or copied works are not permitted.
- Each player may submit only one entry per contest. You may however participate in multiple contests.
- Any submissions which arrive after 11:59 PM CET of the respective deadline will not be considered.
