What are Twitch Drops?
Our Twitch Drops reward players for watching streams of eligible Metin2 channels. Simply meet the watch time requirement during a live Drops campaign to be able to redeem the associated drop!
How do I link my account?
Open the Gameforge Client – if you don’t have an account yet, please use the registration on this page to get the client.
Be sure to have selected the correct game (Metin2) and your game account where you want to receive the drop.
Click on the 3 dots menu on the right side of the game account selection and select “Twitch Linking.”
If the link is not displayed or doesn’t work correctly, it means you don’t have a Metin2 game account yet. Open the game at least once to create the account.
How do I get my drops?
- Fulfil the requirement for the drop on Twitch by watching a Metin2 stream on a participating channel. Redeem your reward on the drops inventory page: https://www.twitch.tv/drops/inventory
- The items you redeem will be automatically sent to the item depot in the item shop for your linked Metin2 account. From there you can assign them to a character of your choice.
- It may take a few minutes until the items arrive in your item depot, especially during peak demand.
How long do I have to redeem the items?
- You can redeem them from the drops inventory page up to 24 hours after the end of the drop campaign.
- As soon as you have redeemed them, the items will be available in your item depot.
- Please note that they will be removed from the item depot after a few weeks (the remaining time can be seen in the item depot).
Do I need to watch the same stream without interruption to receive the reward?
- Once you join a participating channel, it will start counting your viewing time. When you leave the channel, the counter will be paused until you return to watching a participating stream.
- This time is cumulative across all participating Metin2 streams, so it is not necessary to spend all of your time watching the same streamer.
- Please note that all drop campaigns are temporary. If the campaign ends before you have watched the requisite amount of time, you will not receive any rewards.
Can I receive the same reward level more than once?
All available rewards can only be received once. You can check the current campaign and your progress at any time from the Twitch drops inventory page.
I could not link my account or didn’t receive any rewards!
- Please note that you can only link one Twitch account to one Gameforge account. It is not possible to participate with multiple game accounts.
- If you have already collected the items on your Gameforge account, it is not possible to link new accounts to participate in the same campaign.
- If you have any problems or questions, don’t hesitate to contact our Support team.
- Please ensure to provide your Twitch account ID, which you can find on the Gameforge link page (accessible via the Gameforge Client as described above).
